Behind Closed Doors

This is a contemporary drama about a year in the life of five friends.

It is about the stuff that some couples go through; to say much more would be to say too much.  The play catches fire early on and becomes steadily more and more engrossing, being graced by a slue of fine performances.

In the sisters Emily (Rebekah Harrison) and Jay (Yasmin Smedley) you’ll find two of the most intriguing characters to be found on the stage in recent years.  Jay might be called the evil sister of the pair, but in truth Emily is monstrous in her own way.  Her fiancé Danny (Darren Connolly) is soon looking like a rabbit caught in the headlights.  He barely stands a chance, poor pet.

A fine play and not to be missed, which goes on tour shortly.  Some tour dates are here.
