Mon Roi

This is a flick chick with an edge, though not much of one.

A woman breaks her leg skiing and the healing process is a metaphor for getting over a bad marriage, apparently. There is great significance in the fact that the knee can bend in one direction only, apparently. And at this point the film lost me.

These two people meet, fall in love, marry, drift apart. Their relationship is over, though they share a child. That’s it.

A watchable, mildly entertaining film. And I would dislike Vincent Cassel less if he smiled less. Or maybe not.
